Visit to Fountainbridge Library

P1 you were super this morning on our trip to the library. Such sensible walking and lovely manners while we were there. Simon told us two fantastic stories about disgusting food! We have chosen ‘disgusting’ as this week’s word of the week. We enjoyed hearing about the sandwiches covered in ants and mud, yuck! Everyone has brought home a letter to enable them to get their own library card if they do not already have one. Please send these letters back to school and we will collect their library cards next week!

Exciting week in P1

This week we have been delighted to see the final stages of metamorphosis for our tadpoles and caterpillars. We now have many froglets and frogs and three beautiful butterflies! We are enjoying observing them before we release them back into the wild next week.

P1 trip to Fountainbridge Library

We would like to invite you to join us for a morning at Fountainbridge library on Tuesday the 13th of June. We will be leaving school at 9.30am and returning around 11.30am. There will be storytelling, a chance to share some stories together with your child and an opportunity to register for city library membership if you do not already have a library card. We hope you can make it!
