Baking and shaking

As we continue to learn more about where our food comes from, this week we have been learning about flour. The Little Red Hen story taught us more about the process that wheat goes through before it becomes something we can use in baking. We learned how to make bread and were able to follow a recipe to successfully make a delicious loaf. We also learned that you can make butter using a flask and a marble and some cream! It is safe to say there were only crumbs left and P1/2 thought their baking was delicious! The recipe can be found here-
P1/2 enjoyed re-telling the story with puppets!
